Vector Insurance Services LLC, is the premier provider of forensic investigations in the adjusting industry; with 37 years experience investigating and handling difficult, highly technical and catastrophic property & casualty losses; utilizing detailed investigations and complex crash reconstructions.  We were the first investigative company in the United States to incorprate 3D imaging and scanning into our daily work product, along with total station site surveys and event data retrieval.

We excel in investigating and reconstructing large, difficult, complex and/or even strange losses.  The more technical the investigative assignment, the better.

We started off as claims adjusters – first and foremost – but our core mission has evolved past that over the last 14 years and our focus is now crash reconstruction. We’re heavily invested in the technology, training and expertise necessary to provide the most advanced work product in the insurance industry, utilizing FARO 3D scanners, Nikon Total Stations, hand held lidar, drone imagery and other miscellaneous 3D reality capture techniques to fully document your scene for analysis and display; utilizing Faro Zone Expert 3D, CloudCompare and various GIS software packages. Additionally, we’re able to utilize private passenger vehicle data solutions like our Crash Data Retrieval Tools from Bosch and Crash Scan; as well as the NexIQ device for retrieving EDR data from heavy vehicles.

Vector Insurance Services, LLC is committed to providing expert work at affordable pricing. The thorough investigation of any crash involves taking a detailed and scientific look at the specific Humans, the specific Vehicles and the specific Environment involved in a crash. Our specialties and primary focus are on the application of our advanced specialized technical training and cutting edge metrology instruments to scientifically conduct Level III Technical Data Gathering and Level IV Crash Reconstruction, as defined by J. Stannard Baker and Lynn B. Fricke. Our extensive prior experience on the adjusting side of the fence makes us uniquely situated to help our clients identify issues of coverage and liability in real time during these scientific investigation. Not only do we get the science right, we’re also able to apply the science objectively and correctly to the liability picture.

Some of our staff’s signature investigations include a zero verdict in a Federal Court case, in which our work allowed our client to overcome an adverse police report and two surgeries that the plaintiff claimed were medically necessary; uncovering a North Louisiana staged accident ring which prompted the involvement of the NICB, the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office; resulting in 67 indictments and nearly 40 convictions in the Federal Court system; and finding an evidentiary link tying an ostensible “good samaritan witness” to the cause of a fatal crash.

Recent cases include reconstruction and expert testimony in a bench trial where our client was awarded $1.6 million dollars; as well as reconstruction and expert testimony in a unanimous 12-0 jury verdict, upheld by the Louisiana 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, awarding our client $800,000.
